Titans READ!
Be sure to read each and every day as part of our Titans READ Reading Promotion!
Recommended time:
PreK-2nd: 20-30 minutes
3rd-5th: 30-45 minutes
We will be logging our reading through Beanstack! Students will log in using their student number and their birthdate (MMDD) for their password. This is the same system used by the Gwinnett County Public Library.
- Complete the monthly Beanstack challenge and receive Benefield Bucks!
- Classes with the most minutes in each grade level are invited to special events in the media center!
- Students with the most minutes in each grade level are recognized on the morning news and the school marquee!
March Book Madness
Each March we celebrate reading with our March Book Madness competition. We read eight books and vote on our favorites during three rounds of voting.
Our March Madness 2025 Champion was I Do Not Eat Children by Marcus Cutler.
Our March Madness 2024 Champion was Big by Vashti Harrison.
Our March Book Madness Champion for 2023 was There Are No Bears in This Bakery by Julia Sarcone Roach.
