Library Media Center Information
Welcome to the Benefield Media Center!
The mission of the Benefield Media Center is to promote a love a reading, lifelong learning and the effective use of information in a welcoming atmosphere that allows students and staff to read, dream, explore, wonder, and create.
The media center is open from 9:00am-3:00pm for student checkout. Books may be checked out for two weeks. If students are not finished with their books, they may renew them for another two weeks. Students in PreK and Kindergarten may check out one book at a time. Students in grades 1 and 2 may check out two books at a time, and students in grades 4 and 5 may check out three books at a time.
Students can also access e-books through our Media Catalog on the student portal.
The Benefield media center supports free choice reading while also providing books and resources that support our curriculum. Our goal is to put the right books into the hands of all of our readers! Do you have a book suggestion for the Media Center? Let us know here.
