Art Club
Club Description: Art Club serves as an extra-curricular focused on visual art. Many of the projects created in art club use media not commonly used in the art room, providing a new creative experience for club members.

Benefield Book Club
Club Description: The Benefield Book Club aims to foster a passion for reading among students by creating a supportive community where they can share and celebrate their love for books. Students will read from the list of selected titles for Readers Rally, discuss the books, and answer questions about each title in preparation for the Readers Rally Competition.

Club Description: The purpose of the club is to mentor young boys into young men. Teaching them about brotherhood, scholarship, manhood and leadership. To aim, live and strive in excellence by being able to build teamwork through leadership skills and scholarly duties.

Club Description: The Benefield Singers aim to provide 4th and 5th grade students a more significant music education through choral and musical theatre experiences. Club Description: First Ladies of Benefield was established in 2017 to promote ALL things Girl Power. In First Ladies of Benefield, girls will be exposed to woman entrepreneurs, academic support, peer socialization, and a one-of a kind experience.

Club Description: Girls on the Run has fun, evidence-based programs that inspire participants to recognize their inner strength, increase their level of physical activity, imagine their possibilities, and confidently stand up for themselves and others.

Intramural Sports Club
Club Description:
Intramural Sports club will give students the opportunity to compete against their classmates in various sports. It will be open to 3th-5th grade students. The purpose of the intramural sports club is to provide fun, safe and structured play experiences that promote the physical, mental and social development for all students.

Who: Students in grades 3, 4, and 5 are invited to participate, regardless of skill level; however, participation will be limited to the first 30 students per grade level to register.

Planned Activities: The students will participate in Basketball, Soccer, Floor Hockey, Badminton, Smash Ball, Whiffle Ball, Volleyball and Bowling.

Kindness Squad
Club Description: The Kindness Squad is a school club (or family as we like to call it) that meets together to create acts of kindness for others. We come up with ideas about how we can spread kindness in our community and beyond and do those acts of kindness together to make the world a little brighter!

Lego Club
Club Description: The purpose of the club is to encourage creativity, problem-solving, innovation and teamwork through a wide range of fun and engaging challenges and games all based around the humble LEGO brick. We will be exploring aspects of Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math (STEM) activities in our challenges.

Who: Lego Club is open to 2nd and 3rd grade students. We will have a Fall and Spring Session. A lottery system will be used to select 20 students per session.
When: Every other Wednesday morning at 7:10-8:20 a.m.
Planned Activities: Students will have the opportunity to build and learn about simple machines, while also competing in Lego-related challenges.

Math Club
Club Description: The purpose of Math Club is to promote a love of mathematics, increase mental math skills, and show students how math is useful in everyday life. We hope not only to increase awareness of the variety of benefits that math has, but to promote interest amongst students for the creative aspects of problem-solving as well. The Math Club is a place where STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) are encouraged through hands-on activities.

Club Description: The purpose of Podcast Club is to learn, create, and collaborate with peers in order to produce podcast episodes. 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students are selected through an application process.

Robotics Team: Benefield Titan Bots
Club Description: FIRST LEGO League challenges kids in over 80 countries to think like scientists and engineers. During the season, teams are given a FIRST LEGO League Challenge. The teams will choose and solve real-world problems in the project. They will also build, test, and program an autonomous robot using LEGO technology to solve a set of missions in the Robot Game.

Safety Patrol
Club Description: The purpose of the School Safety Patrol is to remind students of the school safety rules and to guide them in safe arrival, dismissal, and movement through the building. It also provides students with the opportunity to strengthen their leadership skills by modeling how to be respectful, responsible, and ready.
